TECO PLC in the Infigy RTU system – solution for dispatching control of PV plants over 100kWp

Our Tecomat FOXTROT control units were successfully deployed as a key technological component in the Infigy RTU system, designed for dispatching control of photovoltaic power plants with an output of over 100kWp. IEC 60870-5-104 communication, verified by ČEZ, was used for communication.- The supplier of the entire system was ENADO.
- The control solution based on our PLC units was developed and implemented by INFIGY – more at www.infigy.cz.
The solution includes:
- a robust RTU unit with power supply, ABB electricity meters and TECO PLCs,
- outdoor and indoor installation with LTE connectivity,
- integration with the PDS information system,
- a user-friendly web interface for operators.
The deployment, for example, at a 210kWp PV plant included 420 IBEX panels, IN.ENTITY inverters, Tigo optimizers and fully automated production measurement and control.
We are pleased that the Czech TECO PLC has stood the test of time as a reliable part of a modern dispatch control system.
