New single-phase electricity meter C-EM-0100M for systems with CIB communication

We are introducing a new universal module C-EM-0100M – a single-phase electricity meter with support for bidirectional energy measurement and expansion input. It is designed for domestic and industrial applications where it is crucial to monitor not only consumption but also energy production (for example, from photovoltaics).Measured quantities
The electricity meter provides a complete spectrum of electrical parameters:
- Current (Irms) up to 65.5 A
- Voltage (Urms) up to 655 V
- Active, reactive and apparent power
- Power factor and phase shift
- Frequency in the range of 45–65 Hz
Thanks to energy registers and optional setting of the number of pulses/kWh, it enables accurate conversion to active and reactive energy.
Expansion input
The module has 1 universal input (AI/DI), which can be configured as:
- binary potential-free input (e.g. for a button or contact),
- analog input (for resistance temperature sensors Pt1000, Ni1000, NTC, etc.).
Configuration and integration
The settings are made in the I/O Configurator tool. The data is divided into groups (DI, STAT+AI, P/U/I, ANYREG), which facilitates integration into control systems.
Mechanical design
Compact module (width 1.5M) for DIN rail mounting. LED indication allows quick visualization of the status:
- RUN (communication)
- IN/OUT (energy flow direction)
- DI1 (input status)
Current transformer
The delivery includes an external transformer (2000:1) with a measuring range up to 50 A AC.
