Smart House on Railways - Modernization of Czech Railways is running ahead

Teco exhibited at For Arch 2012 in Prague
Exhibition For Arch 2012 in Prague, the largest Czech building & construction fair has again expanded and has been visited by about 70,000 visitors. Most of them are people looking for new house, remodeling or increasing ther comfort of living. Teco booth presented advantages of living in Smart House equipped by Tecomat Foxtrot Home Automation system. We were pleased to meet so much end users interested in intelligent living and our system.
Smart Client: Reliance 4 has a new thin client for visualization on mobile devices
The GEOVAP company has developed a new thin client of the Reliance 4 SCADA/HMI system intended for displaying visualization applications on mobile devices – Reliance 4 Smart Client. Together with a Foxtrot PLC, Smart Client enables you to connect an unlimited number of mobile devices (applies to an unlimited license). This is especially useful, for example, when each room of a building is equipped with an iPad or Android tablet for control purposes. The Reliance system allows you to create a comfortable visualization application, run it on the connected PC on a Wi-Fi network, and, using Smart Client, make it available to practically any number of mobile devices within the range of this network or from any Internet-based location. Foxtrot supports connection with worldwide weather forecast service Yahoo Weather
A list of Tecomat libraries has been expanded with library WeatherLib. It contains function blocks for reading of present weather and weather forecast for the next day, what is provided free of charge by server Yahoo Weather for all the world. The forecast for a real place is based on WOEID code ((Where On Earth IDentifier). One of the services for getting WOEID is here. This code may be used as input parameter for function block and it returns back a complete set of information about present weather and forecast. Download the library and example here.
Air-condition units LG may be directly connected to Foxtrot
If you need to integrate air-condition units into complex and effective control system of the house or building, you may use a function block for direct communication with air-condition units LG, product lines Multi V Plus, Multi V SUper, Multi V Sync, Multi V Water. Multi M/MDX, Multi F/FDX, Single A, As well you may directly connect units of bottled water RAC and ventillation units ecoV.
